Why South Korea?

 

That's the question everyone, without exception, has asked me at least once? Why did you choose this destination?

 

Sometimes I feel like answering, why not? Why not Seoul? Why not go as far as possible, have the biggest culture shock and come back with a head full of knowledge? At least then I wouldn't be afraid of going far away.  I don't think I have much of an answer to the question why Seoul? I'm not particularly a fan of Korean culture, of k-pop? I just wanted to discover what's hidden far from home. To understand how this country works, far removed culturally from France.
